The acronym RSVP means in the English language to respond, please. Have you ever sent an invitation to someone you wanted to come and partake in something of value and worthwhile, but instead, you received no reply? Then, finally, on the day of the event, those who didn't RSVP showed up. But, unfortunately, you, the event host, couldn't allow them to enter, for you had made preparations, set an appointed time; therefore, all those who didn't make preparations to attend were left standing at the door.
The bible tells us that God is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. On the contrary, He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. When a thief comes, he doesn't announce his arrival. 2 Peter 3:9-10

We learn from scripture that 120 years passed since the Lord's judgment of the wicked until the day of the great flood. At this time, the earth was corrupt and full of wickedness. But, Noah found favor in the sight of the Lord. Despite the wickedness around Noah, he determined to walk with God, to live righteously. From the time God judged the wicked, until the Ark was finished over 100 years, a century had passed. Genesis 5:32; 6:3; and 7:6
Before the flood, the people continued doing whatever they loved to do. They ate, drank, married, and gave in marriage. Until the great flood came; like a thief, the Lord arrived; and they perished. On the contrary, Noah, a preacher of righteousness, lived blameless before the people, did everything God asked of him, patiently waited on the day of the Lord, and escaped the wrath. God rewarded his faith and obedience! The vessel the Lord had him build became his and his seed's salvation for an appointed time lasting forty days and forty nights.
Have you accepted God's invitation for salvation through Jesus the Christ? If so, He is our Ark of Safety to sustain us through this life. For the Lord will favor, protect, guide, and provide for you in the presence of your enemies. When the wicked perishes, so does sin, and where there is no sin, there is no death, sorrow, pain, or suffering. The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, and you will be rewarded for your faithfulness and obedience. Psalms 23: 5-6; John 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:2; Revelations 21:1
If not, delay this decision no longer; choose life that you and your seed may live. Do not imitate those in Noah's day, for they were too busy doing what they loved and perished. The door of the ARK is open, be sure you can enter before it closes. Deuteronomy 20:19; John 10:9; Revelation 3:7
